Abstract

The extractability of toxin from Microcystis aeruginosa isolate UV-006 by different extraction media such as O, 1N HC1, 2N CH₃COOH, Triton X-100 and water at different pH levels was investigated. The best recovery of toxin was achieved with water at a pH of 10 while the recoveries with the more acidic media tended to be lower.
