Abstract

The aim of this article is to discuss the role of stage directions as a device in drama. To achieve this goal, terms such as ‘drama’, ‘device’ and ‘stage directions’ will naturally be explained and tested against Puleng's drama Thellenyane Batlabolela. However, the article will not focus on a definition of the terms mentioned above.
