Fungi Associated with Eucalyptus in South Africa

Abstract

A list of fungi associated with Eucalyptus spp. in South Africa, was prepared from a search of accessions at the National Collection of Fungi, correspondence housed in the Forestry Branch's archives, published reports and unpublished survey data. The earliest report appeared in 1910. Subsequently, nearly 150 different species of fungi have been found in over 400 sightings from at least 39 different Eucalyptus spp.
