A Mainframe Planning System for Short-rotation Industrial Forests with Specific Reference to Yield Regulation

Abstract

A computerised inventory, planning, yield regulation and management information system for black wattle plantations is described briefly. Aspects fo forest regulation are examined in relation to the black wattle forestry situation. Envisaged adaptations and improvements to the system are put forward.
