Abstract

An experiment to test the effectiveness of the insecticide “Sevin” against Nudaurelia is described and the results briefly discussed. It is concluded that the age of the caterpillar has an appreciable effect on its susceptibility to the insecticides used and that early spraying is essential to insure maximum larval kill.
